session with LCHS Senior Andrew. Can you guess what Andrew loves to hunt. I think at UNA next fall he'll forget the ducks and girls will become his primary target. The decoys and duck calls draw the ducks in, I think the Mustang and the good looks will draw the girls in.

Something to remember them by................

While lining up this group of seniors for their Friends portrait... I realized this would be my last time to work with them....and I wanted something to remember them by.... so I just jumped in their with them. I'm gonna miss you, my friends. Good luck to you all... and God Bless!

Ok, I didn't know I could do it, but I've clicked a bunch of tabs and set up the "Follow" feature on my blog. Look over at the top right and click on that thingy, Blogger calls it a "widget", I call it a thingy. I'm not sure exactly what it means, but I think it will let you know when I add a new post, AND, I will be able to see you and know your there!!!! Which is great! I went to see my mom today for Mother's day and she was telling me that somebody in her Sunday school class told her that they love to read Greg's Bog... Mom called it a Bog......... she said "she just went on and on about your Bog".... =). I didn't correct her... it's Mothers Day.

This was supposed to post Friday...............

I wanted to send Good Luck wishes out to the Lady Devils Softball team in the reginal tournament, and to the Track Team at State, and the Varsity boys Golf team will be competing in the State Tournament next week.

I heard yesterday that the softball team lost 3 to 1. =( Sorry to hear that. I hate to say goodbye to this wonderful group of seniors, God Bless you all!

I saw Haley's name in the paper this morning, she placed 4th in the long jump for the track team. Congratulations Haley!!!

And I'm hearing.... that the guys have a really good chance to win the State Golf Tournament. Go Big Red!!

Relay For Life..............

The rain didn't stop us from having a great time at the Relay For Life this year. I saw lots of smiles and laughter, heard alot of great music from the Ray Sparks Band, Highway 33, and we got to play too! Marsha took my picture again, thanks Marsha, the little video is of our band, that's Trent on drums, Spencer on bass, and that's me on piano, having a great time at the Relay for Life.

It was an emotional night.................

when LCHS's 7 senior softball players were recognized after their victory over Austin tonight.
They almost got me choked up too, I realized that I have been shooting action shots of these girls since they were no bigger than a Easton bat.

Summer was back..................

ELHS Senior '09 Summer that is. It is always so much fun to work with Summer.

5th Annual Hee Haw............

It was fun to get to take part in, and perform, at the 5th Annual Hee Haw Show. Thanks Marsha for taking my picture with "Ida Lee". It was a fun event and over $4000 was raised for the Cancer Society. We'll be performing again next week at the Relay For Life. Ya'll be there!

First time ever...................

I was able to wake up early enough to get a sunrise photo at the beach. Then it was on to see the LCHS Lady Devils softball team in action at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.

The Dance Floor wasn't big enough for................

this Senior Class of 2009. They just danced everywhere. It was a nice night to remember for everyone, and certainly a joy to photograph. Everyone looked really great and the prom commitee did a great job too!

LCHS Spring Sports............Whew............

They keep me hopping. Last week we shot the the Varsity Baseball, Varsity Softball, JV Softball, Jv Baseball, JH Baseball, JH softball (which I didn't know we had), and the Track Team. I can't wait till someday we have Soccer, Lacrosse and Wrestling; that would give me something to do.

Deeply Saddened.....................

by the tragic news about Dakota. I had the chance to work with him doing his senior portraits in '07. I thought of him as such a nice young man, with so much potential. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Nice Busy Week.....................

Out at the golf course photographing the LCHS golf teams. I got to catch several innings of the Lady Devils in action; capped off Sat night in a close lose to Hatton in the County T. finals, Dang. Chubby sent me a picture of the LCHS Red Devil Varsity Baseball team; who won the County Championship Sat. Congratualtions guys!

Friday night it was a pleasure (and always is) to work with the LCHS JROTC cadets at their Military Ball.

LCHS Softball Home Opener............

The Lady Devils got the season underway today at home vs Brooks. The field was in great shape after being covered in snow only 2 days before. They forgot to turn the heat on up there, so I only stayed a few innings.

That's what I told Christian (#55). I told him "me and your daddy used to play baseball together". He looked up at us like he wasn't to sure about that. I said "yeah, he used to get on base, steal second, then I would come up to bat and knock him in". Patrick put his hand assuringly on his Christian's shoulder and said "that was a long time ago". And we laughed.
