ELHS Senior..............Summer............

Summer's mom helped me with hair and makeup, Summer's brother Richard brought over the forgotten pom poms. Then he stayed and got in for a great brother, sister shot. And Summer's dad fussed the whole time about how short the new skirts were. (and the bloomers, he's concerned about the bloomers). We all had a great time, while I took shots for Summer's senior cheerleading composite. Stay tuned, I'll show it off when it's finished.

Good Luck Russ, God Bless.

Introducing the Davenports and the '08 Red Devils........

Jon and Kim were married today at a beautiful ceremony in the Chapel of First Baptist Church in Decatur. What a stirring rendition on the Bridal March by the organist! Who told me; that the organ was originally purchased with money Abraham Lincoln gave the church for restitution from damage done during the Civil War. The pipes were redone before WWI and I'm telling you all, it sounded so awesome!
Anyway, Best Wishes to Jon and Kim!
THEN,
it was back to Moulton to meet Coach Strunk and his family and do the team portraits for the 2008 Red Devils! That's Coach Strunk and his family, #70 is my nephew Garrett and #55 is my neighbor Jake and all the 2008 Red Devils. Good Luck to you guys and GO BIG RED!
These are days photographers live for.

So I let Blake's little sister and her friend get they're picture made with him. Ryan was just glad to be here and to have made it. (Thumps up). The pretty young ladies are Brittney and Olivia. And that's Colten who, to me, looks just like his momma, whom I finished high school with at LCHS, just a few years ago.

Mallory and Adam...............

I first photographed these two when Mallory was hitting homeruns for the Lady Devils and Adam was scoring baskets for the Red Devil basketball team. I think Mallory hit a homerun today and Adam scored a game winner when they married today at Oak Park Church in Decatur. Best Wishes to the Campbells.

Spring Football..................

It was fun to shoot some football Friday night as the LC Red Devils took on the Elkmont Red Devils. It rained on them, but the sun kept shining. Maybe that's a good sign for next season.

They took the yellow lawn mower and everything.....

They had 2 big wins Friday night which assured them of third place. But the Lady Devils couldn't get the breaks they needed to win the Championship Saturday. Losing to eventual champions "STJ".
Ladies you had an awesome season. And there are 86 other 4A teams behind you, and only 2 that were better this one Saturday.
Congratulations on such a great accomplishment.

LCHS Powder Puff football.......

Taylor (starting center for the Seniors) told me the 8th graders won. I ask "how did that happen". She said "They had Weepy". Photos by Lisa.

LCHS Varsity Baseball...........Dang........

Two gut-wrenching loses in the 3rd round halted the Devils chance to go to Montgomery. But Men.... you had an awesome season and someday 25 yrs from now, you'll be sitting around a table with the guys you work with; still talking about it. And it won't hurt so bad. I guarantee it.

Greg (pic taken by my bud Chubby)

I can show these off now.............

(See Feb 26th post) Here she is..... Mrs. Singletons beautiful bridal portraits. Callie said her wedding day was the happiest day of her life. I hope all your days are just as happy Callie.

LCHS Softball Senior Night..............

Ragan, Carlie and Tiffany were recognized with their families before the game tonight.
I'm pretty sure, the bats they use now.... are taller than they were when I first took action shots of them so many years ago. They have grown into such beautiful young softball players. Good luck to you all of you in the area playoffs............and in everything your future's hold.
