I always have a lot of fun photographing my little friends at Speake School. I noticed the 2nd grade came in very quiet... and they left the same way......with Mrs. Rose's stern instuctions; "put one hand on your hip, and one finger on your lip".
One little girl ask me, "How old do you think I am"? I said, "Ten". She gave me an incredulous stare.........then exclaimed, "I'm not ten, I'm nine".

At noon, I thought 'gosh, it's going to be miserable hot', at 5pm, I thought 'gosh, it's gonna flood'.......but at 7pm, it was perfect. And the WHOLE BIG wonderful class of 2010 walked across the football field in front of PACKED stadium, and recieved thier diplomas that they've worked so hard for. My son Michael and my nephew Garrett made me feel real proud. God bless you all! You were such a wonderful class to work with

It was perfect this week in Gulf Shores!! I did get to catch the LCHS Lady Devils playing ball at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex. The Lady Devils really had a great week.
I took my son Michael and my nephew Garrett out for some senior portraits... but with those two togther.....things got a little goofy. But it was a great week of Spring Break vacation.

I got to spend some time this evening watching the LCHS Golf team play at Deer Run. I don't know who won, I couldn't find the scoreboard, but I do know Kerri Lynn broke 50 for the first time this year. Way to go Kerri Lynn!
I heard a scary noise in the woods and this guy came sneaking out. He said he was looking for a ball, but I don't know....

it was a perfect day for portraits. I was able to photograph the LCHS JH baseball team, and ALL of the lovely Lady Devil softball teams. I did pretty well with the Varsity girls and JV girls, but totally lost control of the JH girls. Thats Bertha and Ashley on the top right, our Senior Lady Devils.

The consolidation with Speake did one thing for sure... it created a Wonderful fun loving, unforgetable Lawrence County High School Senior class, and what dancers they are! Congratulations Mitch and Olivia, Prom King and Queen.
I had a wonderful time working with this class last night at their prom down at the Marriott. Everyone looked really sharp.

the lightning in the early morning storms zapped the intercom system, so THE AMAZING, LCHS Annual staff girls ran up and down the halls all day rounding up Club memebers, Organization members and the Senior Who's Who. I know they were give out.
I also had the pleasure of photographing Mr and Miss LCHS, Mitch and Makenna, congratulations to both of you. AND, a first ever for me, I photographed LCHS's first Archery Team, AND, I photographed the young men and women of the LCHS JROTC.
What a fun day.

Ok, the rules for Clubs and Organizations picture day are; Sit up straight, don't cross you legs, keep you hands down and don't do anything goofy......ha ha.
You can tell we don't really "enforce" the rules all the time.
It's so much fun to work with the kids doing these photos every year. I'm handing out a few awards this year. Greg
Was just AWESOME, AMAZING and so much fun to see!!! All the frats and sororities were so entertaining. But of course, MY favorite was the lovely ladies from Phi Mu, thats my daughter Taylor in the top left of thier composite. She was a star.
In total disagreement with the judges.... Phi Mu was number One.........just saying.
