Balloons and Fireworks......

I spent a nice evening at Point Mallard watching the Balloon Glow and the Fireworks,

While I was listening to the band Natchez Trace, I spotted an old friend playing lead guitar with them. Wayne and I used to play together back in the mid 90's. He's a grandpa now! My, how time flies!

6th Hour in Decatur.........

With LCHS and ELHS graduations over, it was time for a day off!
Danielle and I took ALOT of pictures at both graduations, so you all are welcome to come by the studio and pick out the ones you like.
I spent the day relaxing, and (leaving the camera at home),
spent the evening enjoying the music of 6th Hour at Java Jaay's in Decatur.

Relay for Life

The Relay for Life was held at LCHS. I heard that I missed a really good time! Unfortunately, I was unable to attend due to my grandmother undergoing surgery. She is a lung cancer survivor... I have been after her for a couple of months about attending the relay, but the Wed. Before the Relay she was diagnosed with breast cancer and was quickly scheduled to have the breast removed that Fri. She is doing well! God has blessed her... Please, everyone be sure to pray for Mrs. Steele as she undergoes radiation treatments for breast cancer.

Today was Cap & Gown picture day at LC. Thanks to all who participated. Kenny & Lance matched from head to toe. I was just waiting for one of them to click his heels 3 times and say "there's no place like home..."

I attended Awards Day this morning at LCHS. I was very impressed to discover that LC has such an oustanding student body! Congratulations to all who received awards.

WOW!! I've waited all season to see Moe (Courtney Terry) knock one outta the park... This was her 2nd homer for the season. Way to go MOE!!

What a night!

Ladies Softball Sectionals hosted by ELHS went out with a big BANG! Both teams played earlier in the afternoon and were defeated. Which lead to the best game of the night... the ultimate show down between EL and LC. What a game! I loved watching both sides battle this one out. Lady Eagles lucked up with a 4-2 victory over LC. Final games will be held Sat. @ 12, due to rain. Goodluck EL!

I caught a great show and was very impressed by the MMS Show Choir this evening.

I just saw a Broadway play last week in New York City.

I beleive I enjoyed this play just as much!
