Got a lesson in cotton picking today............

and had a really great time shooting LCHS Senior/Cotton Farmer, Will Cottinghams senior portraits this afternoon. Will is all about cotton,he told me one bale of cotton would produce 2000 pair of bluejeans. (That's enough last me two lifetimes). Cotton prices are down this year, 80 cents a pound, (he blamed it on China), but as we looked out over the beautiful white fields, I could see that he was seeing one thing, green, (money). It was good to see a Senior who knew what he wanted to do, and was very educated in what he wanted to do. Good luck Will.
And, it was pretty cool to ride in a brand new quater of a million dollar John Deere cotton picker.

Cross Country State Race......

LCHS Boys finish State Runner-up, and the LCHS Girls finished 6th. Good job runners. It was a beautiful day for the race.

We spent this glorious afternoon on the banks of the Tennessee River at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course photographing the lovely wedding of Anthony Robinson  and Cyndle Hood, now Mr and Mrs Robinson. Good luck and God Bless.
