I had a wonderful time this evening photographing Taylor's sorority, Phi Mu, on the lovely campus of UNA.What a wonderful group of young ladies! And such a pleasure to work with.

Brooks Invitaional............



The LCHS Cross Country runners took off on thier 2009 season this morning at McFarland Park in Florence. Michael led the LCHS Varsity boys with a time of 18:10 (6th overall), Ari led the Varsity girls, (4th overall) and Freddie and Victoria WON the JV races.

The JV Boys won 1st in thier class. Good job all of you!!

I'm going to have to work with the JV boys on their trophy poses, maybe sit the trophy on the ground.

They held #72 like that all night, but the officials didn't see it???

It's been a long time since we kicked some............

Field goals, (you know what I meant). It was great to see the LCHS Red Devils look so good tonight! Defeating Hayden 35-14 in the jamboree game. It was great to see two become as ONE, and play with passion. GO BIG RED!

It's so sad to learn of the tragic news and loss of such a fine young man. I had the opportunity to meet and work with Blake for his '05 Senior Portraits.My heart goes out to Diana (we graduated together) and Glenn, May God strenghten you and give you peace.

Red Hot Picture Day....




Well, we picked the hottest day of the year to photograph the 2009 LCHS Red Devil football team and cheerleaders. Thanks so much to Amy Sterling for helping me! She shot the cheerleaders while I shot the football team. We photographed 46 players, 20 cheerleaders, all the groups and the team portrait in 1 hr and 15 minutes, I think thats a new WORLD RECORD!!!
Can you tell you had the "funniest" bunch to work with???

I had 8 more great sessions this week with these LCHS Seniors. Let's see, we'll go across the top from left to right, that's Olivia, Landon, Hannah, and Landons twin brother Austin. Bottom row there's Bryan, Christina, John Thomas (J.T) and Samantha. I graduated with Bryan's dad and J.T.'s mom, just a few years ago.

A Great Week..............

I'll admit, I was worried about Forrest and Dez; but they came prepared and gave me no trouble, nailed thier portraits on the first shot!
